What is paint protection film?

PPF is a clear, flexible film that's precision-cut and fitted over your car's paint. It takes the chips, scratches, bird droppings and sun, so the paint underneath stays factory-new.

PPF or ceramic coating? A coating adds gloss and makes washing easier, but it's microns thin and won't stop a stone chip. PPF is a physical barrier, and you can have it coated on top to get both.

  • Stops chips and scratches

    A tough, clear urethane layer takes the hit from stones, gravel, keys and trolleys, so your paint doesn't.

  • Heals itself

    Light swirls and scratches in the topcoat disappear with heat from the sun or warm water.

  • Practically invisible

    Clear gloss keeps the factory shine; matte turns gloss paint satin. Either way, it's still your car.

  • Removable

    A certified installer can take it off later without harming factory paint, which helps when you sell.

How it's fitted

Precision, panel by panel

Every STEK install is a controlled process. The car is decontaminated and prepped, panels are patterned on pre-cut software, and the film goes on wet, or dry for air-release films like AIRFORCE. It's worked edge to edge by hand until it cures into an invisible second skin.
